On behalf of one of its clients working in the F&B sector, the French Chamber of commerce is looking for an Beverage Category Sales Manager.
Our client is looking for a results-driven Beverage Category Sales Manager to lead the growth of our premium beverage brands within the fine food industry in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, a proven track record in sales, and experience in managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at accelerating brand growth within the beverage category, with a special focus on fine food and premium beverages.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key accounts across the HORECA (hotel, restaurant, cafe) sector to drive business expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities by building a robust customer pipeline and converting potential leads into loyal accounts.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team, providing valuable insights to shape targeted campaigns that boost beverage sales.
- Liaise with beverage suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration to create and execute successful sales strategies.
- Provide training and support to the sales teams on product features, benefits, and effective selling techniques to maximize sales performance.
- Monitor industry trends, stay informed on emerging beverage products, and keep a close eye on competitor activities to capitalize on new opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Beverage Manager or similar role in the fine food or hospitality industry, with a strong track record in sales.
- In-depth understanding of the beverage sector, including supplier networks, brand positioning, customer preferences, and industry trends.
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities, with the capacity to drive team performance and foster growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across all operations.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership and initiative in achieving goals.
- Fluency in French is required to liaise with various stakeholders in France (vendors, clients, office in France)
