Job Description
- Design and optimize scalable data architectures for large-scale recommendation systems.
- Build stable, high-performance storage and computing systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues to ensure system stability.
- Develop distributed data storage and computing infrastructure.
- Apply data mining and machine learning for insights from large datasets.
- Create dynamic data reports to communicate findings.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Hive, Flink, Spark, Kafka, and Redis.
- Skilled in processing large-scale datasets (ideally at petabyte scale).
- Project experience related to personalised recommendation or search engines is much preferred.
- Proactive problem solver with a passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
