Upwork's Management Services team is seeking to add a Bilingual Technical Recruiter (Chinese & English Languages) to the team.
The Bilingual Technical Recruiter, Managed Services Recruitment will be responsible for providing recruiting services to the Upwork Managed Services Recruitment team and the clients we serve.
You will be accountable to achieve one of the most important business outcomes - to staff some of Upworks largest clients with top talent. You have a passion for recruiting and interviewing as well as a strong track record of placing top-notch candidates.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
End-to-end recruitment: source (passive and active), invite, qualify, interview, recommend candidates to clients.
Track new client requisitions through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS); update cases as they progress.
Act as the liaison between hiring managers and candidates during the application process.
Manage your assigned requisitions and candidate pipelines.
Provide Technical Recruiting services to the Upwork Managed Services Recruitment team.
Deploy best in class recruiting practices for high volume technical recruiting, screening and pipelining of qualified candidates.
Maintain candidates with best data hygiene practices in applicant tracking system
Conduct technical and behavioral interviews via video call/Google Meet
Act as the liaison between hiring managers and candidates during the interviewing and onboarding process
Continually develop and iterate on technical screening guidelines and procedures
Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss current projects and internal updates
Provide team leads with creative ideas for screening and pipelining candidates for hard to fill roles
Collaborate with team leaders and cross functional stakeholders to understand various cultural aspects and expand sourcing strategies
Expected Deliverables:
Development & maintenance of Chinese language-specific recruitment playbook that includes insights into recruitment tactics, tooling and geo-location considerations.
Achieve and maintain a 60% conversion rate on candidate submission to be approved by the client on any open roles they are working on.
Conducting a minimum of 20 candidate screenings per week based on the provided interview guide for each role.
Follow the correct interview guide provided for the role you are conducting interviews for.
Same day documentation in the ATS with 100% accuracy.
Follow processes outlined in process documents.
Meet or exceed metric expectations.
Accurate translation from English to Chinese or Chinese to English for all language-specific related work including outreach, job postings and interviews.
Provide strategic consulting to team manager regarding language-specific recruitment strategies.
Support additional languages and needs as requested.
Qualifications
Technical Recruiting experience preferred
Professionally working fluency in English and Chinese
Exhibit strong collaboration skills; enjoys receiving feedback and knowledge sharing.
Highly adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Strong proactive communication and professional written/verbal communication in English and Chinese
