Title:
Costing Supervisor
Job Purpose:
The Billing Supervisor will ensure the consistent operations of all billing related functions, to include timely and accurate month end close. Will work with Branch Managers / other department to identify revenue and profit opportunities/risks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Billing function to ensure:
To oversee the billing team members, their performance and team functions.
Billing jobs from agreed tariffs.
Suppliers are paid timely to prevent service interruptions and late fees.
Accurate coding and processing of supplier invoices.
Monthly reconciliations of supplier statements.
Reporting and other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
Ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately.
Extreme attention to detail.
Intermediate Excel skills a must. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
Must be organized, dedicated, and possess excellent communication skills.
Must have a desire to learn, work independently, and possess strong problem solving skills.
