BIM MODELLER JOB DESCRIPTION:

. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications, creating and maintaining 3D models using BIM software

. Proposal and preparation of material samples

. Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant

. Proposing cost-effective solutions for the intended project

. Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, manpower and operatives

. Prepare, Sketch and produce Autocad / BIM site drawings to achieve approval from clients

. Surveying the site to assist in the drawings and production of setting out & levelling for installation purposes

. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

. Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect

. Liaising with any consultants, PE Engineers subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project for necessary submissions

. Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws

. Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress

. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors

. Produce site cutting lists for procurement and fabrication purposes

. Finalize as built drawings with quantity surveyors for final claim purposes

. Preparing reports as required

. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Requirement:

Preference with MRT experience
