Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting in managing kitchen inventory, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and stock levels are maintained. This includes ordering supplies and understanding the cost-effectiveness of stock.
- Observing and learning the standards for food preparation and presentation, which are crucial for customer satisfaction.
- Helping with the supervision and organization of kitchen staff. This may include dishwashers, prep cooks, line cooks, and sous chefs.
- Learning about the company's culture, values, and organizational structure.
- Familiarizing oneself with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and kitchen hygiene protocols to ensure the kitchen complies with health department standards.
- Learning to manage costs related to food production, waste reduction, and budgeting. The trainee may be involved in tracking expenses and looking for ways to improve efficiency.
- Ensure cleanliness of the store at all times
- Assisting in troubleshooting issues that arise in the kitchen, whether related to staffing, equipment, or supply shortages.
- Other duties as assigned
Other Requirement
- High interests in F&B industry
- An eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
- The ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
