The incumbent is responsible for managing both front and back-end store operations to ensure smooth operations. He/ she is expected to:
- Manage budgets, maximise profitability and set/ meet sales targets
- Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning
- Lead and motivate team to achieve organization goals
- Manage customers complaints, compliments and feedback
- Manage stock inventory and stock control
- Plan and manage promotional spaces and activities
- Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff
- Plan and perform biannual stocktake for the store
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met as well as compliance with various government legislation (NEA, SFA, SCDF etc.)
- Continuously review and enhance existing store operations and processes to improve business
- Involve in projects such as planning for new store opening and renovation works for existing stores
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline with more than 5 years of relevant work experience in the service/ retail industry
- Great passion for the service / retail industry
- Possess strong strategic thinking skills
- Good in project management
- Good at presenting reports and coming up with fresh ideas
- Highly customer-oriented, motivated, meticulous and results oriented
- Resourceful and problem solver with effective leadership skills and ability to motivate others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise workload and delegate accordingly
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Team player with ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders etc.
