Branch Manager - Safety, Security & Quality (TEL)
Job Purpose
To drive Line-level policies and procedures in ensuring Safety, Security and Quality compliance and governance for TEL.
Responsibilities
Safety Governance & Audit
Develop, implement and update safety and quality policies within TEL and ensure their alignment to Company-level policies.
Plan and conduct safety compliance inspections to ensure compliance to safety-related industry standards as stipulated by legislative and regulatory authorities.
Manage Workplace, Safety and Health (WSH) within TEL in accordance with WSH Act.
Plan and conduct trending and analysis of safety audit performance and recommend areas for improvement.
Safety System Assurance & Training
Plan and implement Risk Management framework in TEL in accordance with Company Policy.
Coordinate and complete Operational Safety Submission within stipulated timeframe for TEL stage opening as part of regulatory and licensing requirements.
Implement safety-related education/ promotion initiatives as provided by Trains SSQ.
Plan and coordinate safety-related training opportunities for TEL workforce.
Security Operations
Plan and conduct security audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with the security-related Code of Practice as stipulated by regulatory authorities.
Plan and conduct threat vulnerability risk assessment to address physical security concerns for all TEL premises.
Manage deployment of security manpower at all TEL premises in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Emergency Preparedness/ Business Continuity Management
Maintain Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategies, systems and plans through regular conduct of exercises.
Investigations
Conduct safety and security-related investigations as directed by MD, TEL.
Coordinate with external agencies on all investigative matters within TEL.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Degree from a recognized institution
Education background/ working experience in transport security is preferred

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
