Broker Channel Manager

Job Description

• Responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers
• Maintain and develop customer relations
• Identify and develop new products, services/new market segments
• Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with the Company's Risk Management and Reinsurance guidelines
• Undertake credit control ensuring standard for debtor days are strictly adhered to
• Provide a technical reference point for queries
• Achieve premium growth and profit targets
• Development of balanced portfolio of business from Broker accounts
• Ensure maximum efficient and effectiveness in work processes within the department
• Provide guidance and training for staff
• Provide training for staff & teambuilding
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification and /or professional insurance qualifications
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance
