Job Description

  • Site preparation: Measuring the work area, protecting nearby furnishings and building materials, and covering fixtures and furniture
  • Surface preparation: Sanding, taping off outlets, repairing cracks, removing old paint, and washing walls
  • Mixing and applying paint: Matching paint samples, mixing and matching paints and colours, and applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes
  • Setting up and taking down equipment: Setting up scaffolding and ladders, and cleaning up supplies and equipment
  • Quality assurance: Performing a final inspection to ensure quality and accuracy of work
  • Safety: Adhering to workplace safety rules and regulations, and ensuring all projects comply with regulatory and environmental regulations
  • Collaboration: Working with clients, other painters, and other construction professionals
