The Business Advisors (BA)/Key Industrial Partners (KIP) Manager undertakes the leadership of the full qualification process of the partners and is accountable for its successful achievement in line with contributors expectations.
The jobholder will closely interact and cooperate with all Regional Company stakeholders from Operations, Legal and Finance departments but also with the Heads of Regions, Country Directors, and Operational Units stakeholders.
It is expected the BA/KIP Manager to assume the following responsibilities:
- With reference to Best Practices, Thales instructions, Compliance and Ethics rules, jobholder will actively participate in the reinforcement of Governance within the Regional Company and related Regions with regard to the quality and relevance of the Business Advisors and Key Industrial Partners files
- Significantly contribute to develop instructions awareness to all stakeholders e.g the Country Directors or Operating Units (processes, ethics and compliance)
- Participate in the Projects and/or Domains selection to be addressed by Business Advisors and Key Industrial Partners by providing advises and sharing Regional Company's expertise in partnerships management
- Participate in the selection and the qualification of Business Advisors, from request by the Head of Regions / Country Directors until sign-off of the selection and agreement file by the entitled persons anticipate re-qualification process
- Perform qualification of Key Industrial Partners, from request by the Country Directors until sign-off of the qualification file by the entitled persons anticipate re-qualification process
- Manage and actively support with the Country Directors, the commercial and day-to-day relationships with the Business Advisors and Key Industrial Partners
- Ensure that qualification process and business timelines are consistent (through regular updates with Countries, use of Group tools and reports such as GCRM, Gates planning, Monthly Order Intake Reviews, Quarterly Marketing & Sales Reviews)
- Ensure that Thales Key Industrial Partners portfolio sustains the needs of forecasted business for the Countries of interest (ref. to Sales Execution Reviews (SER) / Sitcom)
- Report on a regular basis on Key Industrial Partners status versus Thales SER/Sitcom coverage, qualification cycle versus business planning, qualification status, partners assessment
- Actively contribute to the partnership strategy in the Regions by providing adequate inputs for Country Strategic & Marketing plans - as well as MTIP when relevant, and contribute to the implementation of Framework Agreements with the Key Industrial Partners
- Closely follow-up and monitor action plans in progress within the regional Companies resulting from Qualification, Audit
Requirements
- The jobholder should have 10 to 15 years professional experience, of which 7 years and above in BA/KIP selection and qualifications.
- Must have experience of BA/KIP selection and qualifications including THALES Sales Execution Reviews (SER) / Sitcom coverage, qualification cycle versus business planning, qualification status management, partners assessment.
- She/he should possess teamwork mindset, with ability to engage stakeholders, human and relational qualities, leadership skills, pro-activity and promptness to react, rigor and organization capabilities, obstinacy and self-confidence, autonomy and accountability, adaptability and openness to multi-tasking, creativity and curiosity, exemplarity and appetite for evolving in a multicultural, international and fast changing environment.
