About the Role - The Business Analyst will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative digital solutions that enhance how customers purchase, self-serve, and interact with digital platforms. This role involves identifying and analyzing business challenges, customer needs, and market trends, then translating them into clear, actionable requirements. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with product, platform, delivery, and technology teams to design, implement, and adopt digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the scope and requirements for digital projects and platform rollouts, collaborating with industry partners across the APAC region.
- Work with business analyst teams to define and prioritize requirements for product and feature launches.
- Facilitate requirement workshops to capture and finalize business needs.
- Collaborate with design teams to define customer journeys and user experiences for both standalone and embedded digital solutions.
- Own the creation of feature specifications and reusable documentation for defined products and propositions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to evaluate pain points, opportunities, and requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Collaborate with product/platform teams to understand vision, roadmap, and value propositions, translating these into clear business requirements.
- Collect, document, and communicate business requirements in the form of BRDs, FSDs, epics, and user stories.
- Prioritize user requirements based on business impact, urgency, and product roadmap alignment.
- Ensure seamless communication of business needs to technical and delivery teams, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Perform due diligence across the product/project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with technical solutions, dependencies, and risk management.
- Assist in project delivery management, balancing multiple projects across the lifecycle.
Qualifications - Degree or equivalent qualification.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in digital delivery within a Business Analyst role, ideally in an Agile environment.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry and with insurance products.
- Strong technical business analysis skills with a focus on system interactions, mapping, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of the claims lifecycle process.
- Good to have any Formal Business Analysis and Agile certifications.
- Understanding of product/platform lifecycle management, particularly in web/mobile technology, with a focus on user journeys and customer experience.
- Knowledge e-commerce, customer servicing and digital sales is a plus.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex business issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, managing tight timelines and evolving priorities.
- Ability to independently drive initiatives, think strategically, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.
