Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong testing experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the financial or investment industry, a deep understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and functional designs.

. Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure quality and accuracy.

. Perform thorough testing (manual and automated) and validate system functionality.

. Analyse and interpret test results to identify issues, suggest solutions, and validate fixes.

. Work closely with development teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and test scenarios.

. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.

. Generate detailed reports on test results, defects, and overall project quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

. Proven experience as a Business Analyst with extensive involvement in testing, preferably within the financial or investment sector.

Technical Skills:

. Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.

. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
