Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for both functional and technical aspects of applications/platforms. You will work closely with solution architects, development leads, developers, product managers and other stakeholders to translate complex technical information into clear, concise and structured documentation.

Your role will involve ensuring that documentation meets the needs of both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as supporting solutions, integration, ops, and app/platform design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stakeholder needs to identify improvement opportunities
• Design and implement solutions, including process optimizations, automation, and digital systems
• Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and adoption
• Plan, manage, and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Elicit, analyze, and document business needs to a sufficient level of detail
• Assess solution alternatives and validate their fit with business needs
• Manage conflicts, issues, and changes to maintain project alignment
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations
• Prepare end-user documentation (training manuals, user guides, process flows)
• Lead system validation activities and user acceptance testing
• Review performance metrics and recommend optimizations
• Assist with technical design, specification, and solution documentation
• Maintain document repositories and contribute to project documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field
• CCBA, CBAP, or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven track record in business analysis, solution design, and project lifecycle
• Proficiency in business process modeling tools and analysis techniques
• Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, BPM, CRM, data analytics, ERP, digital technologies, or knowledge management is advantageous
• Understanding of Singapore Government procurement and governance processes is a plus
• Experience in design thinking and workshop facilitation is beneficial
