Business Analyst Non-Life Insurance (1-Year Renewable Contract)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Analyst to join our team within a major insurance company. This role is integral in supporting our business units, primarily focused on non-life insurance products, and will involve collaboration with various regional stakeholders. The Business Analyst will play a key role in gathering requirements, streamlining processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, with a focus on non-life insurance products.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and project teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and recommend solutions to optimize workflow and increase efficiency within business operations.
- Project Management Support: Assist in project planning, risk identification, and issue resolution to ensure smooth project execution.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct data analysis to provide insights on business performance, product offerings, and process efficiency. Prepare and present reports to support decision-making.
- Testing & Validation: Support the testing phases by defining and documenting test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring requirements are met.
- Documentation: Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user manuals as needed.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, preferably within the insurance sector, with a strong emphasis on non-life insurance products.
- Insurance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of non-life insurance products is essential familiarity with a range of insurance products is an advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using analytical tools and systems to support data-driven insights. Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with regional stakeholders and diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose solutions tailored to business needs.
