Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test lead with experience in stakeholder management, to work on projects with a leading bank.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Test Lead, with a focus on requirement gathering and testing processes
- Strong experience in writing user stories and documenting acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Actively manage UAT progress and issues within project timelines, providing updates to the business team and key stakeholders
- Maintain a JIRA dashboard for status updates
- Assist the product owner and UAT lead in preparing the Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Ensure traceability among test cases, user stories, and defects in JIRA during testing execution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (KYC, AML)
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to create and refine user stories for system improvements
- Engage in workshops and discussions to review Business Specification Documents (BSD)
- Define acceptance criteria for user stories and obtain approval from product owners
- Support the product owner and UAT lead in formulating comprehensive Test Strategies and Test Plans
- Identify potential challenges, risks, and gaps within the testing framework
- Organize UAT kick-off meetings and maintain regular progress meetings to monitor updates
- Evaluate test scenarios and cases with key product owners to ensure they align with business needs
- Maintain a JIRA dashboard to provide status updates and ensure traceability between test cases, user stories, and defects
- Oversee UAT progress and address issues within project timelines, providing updates to the business team and stakeholders
- Coordinate with related teams to facilitate testing efforts and confirm environment readiness
- Monitor and manage the UAT defect pool to ensure prompt resolution
- Analyze and summarize outstanding defects as necessary, leading daily defect triage meetings for resolution
- Generate daily reports to track UAT progress, summarizing key metrics and findings for stakeholders.
