Lead and manage regulatory reporting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and objectives.
Utilize project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) to plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external software vendors to align delivery roadmaps and ensure seamless integration of regulatory reporting solutions.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for regulatory reporting projects.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement to enhance regulatory reporting capabilities.
Develop and maintain detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specification documents (FSD), and data transformation documents (DTD).
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR, MiFIR, HKMA, and MAS.
Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on existing reporting processes.
Implement and maintain transaction regulatory reporting tools and frameworks for Asian and European regulators.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, compliance officers, and external vendors.
Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Profile Requirment:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking industry.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR, MiFIR, HKMA, and MAS.
Strong understanding of IT architecture and transaction regulatory reporting tools and frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Highly analytical mindset with the ability to model complex systems and data.
