Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst with experience in Fund Services (Fund Administration/ Transfer Agency) for an eminent bank.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Gather and evaluate business requirements to develop detailed User Stories that accurately reflect user needs and expectations;
• Experience inFund Transfer, Fund Administration, or Transfer Agency, within Hedge Fund Sector;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment;
• Design and prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases;
• Execute these tests to validate functionality against requirements and track the progress of testing activities;
• Manage defects by documenting, categorizing, and reporting them to relevant teams;
• Assist in identifying and resolving production issues swiftly, collaborating with technical teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations;
• Track and compile statistics related to ongoing Management Information Systems (MIS);
• Analyze this data for metrics and benchmarks reporting, providing insights for strategy presentations and decision-making.

Desired Skill-set

• Familiarity with Transfer Agency operations and understanding hedge fund performance fee calculations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, assess, and document business requirements to create detailed User Stories;
• Act as the primary liaison for users throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• Advocate for user interests in discussions with stakeholders to prioritize their needs;
• Design and prepare UAT test cases to validate system functionality against requirements;
• Execute testing activities, track progress, and manage defect documentation and reporting;
• Support and coordinate system change implementations among various teams;
• Monitor and assess the outcomes of changes after deployment to ensure stability;
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve production issues efficiently;
• Collect and compile statistics related to ongoing Management Information Systems (MIS);
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure ongoing alignment with business objectives;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
