Job Description

JOB SCOPE

• Manage logistic sales and business development in air, ocean, local transportation and warehousing
• Deliver presentations to customers in South East Asia and Australia, and initiate business trips for sales activities
• Promote existing customer retention through cross selling and upselling
• Build and lead a strong business development team to achieve short and long term targets
• Establish national supply chain strategy to ensure that the Team grow quickly to become a top tier logistics company in SEA and Australia
• Lead a team of international freight/express sales and work closely with the procurement team to drive results
• Closely monitor trends on air and ocean freight rates and work with the procurement team to secure competitive prices
• Achieve sales target, and present sales performance via reports and internal regular meetings
• Manage and monitor sound business opportunities (Inventory) level of all sales team in SEA and Australia
• Set up go-to-market strategy by region and make sure the sales activities goes in line with the strategy

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum Bachelor Degree with major in business administration, transportation, logistics, supply chain management or similar
• At least 15 years of experience in logistics sector
• At least 10 years of experience in new business development/sales
• At least 8 years in senior management capacity
• Strong regional network in land/air and ocean transportation
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good negotiator
