Job Description
- Prepare presentations and proposal for clients
- Qualify and assess leads - understand their goals, constraints, and platform requirements
- Liaise with both the client and delivery teams to ensure that all parties are aligned on the scope of work
- Consistently follow up with clients to understand their business needs and adapt our approach accordingly
- Analyze existing client relationships to see how we can upsell & cross-sell services
- Ensure that the Salesforce CRM is up-to-date and leads are registered correctly on partner portals
- Maintain productive & positive relationships with partner companies
- Act as a team lead for all business development representatives by mentoring them, supporting them on pitches, and engaging in enablement activities
- Create & research meaningful content for case studies, website posts, webinars, and white papers, while building a repository for these files for future reference
- Aligning with company leadership for new outbound campaigns, including LinkedIn messaging, creating phone scripts, and EDMs
- Support marketing initiatives
- Present value messaging effectively to customers with solutions selling mindset
- Respond to tender opportunities and lead pursuit strategy
- Seek & establish deep understanding of the client's business across all client stakeholders
- Establish trusted advisor client relationships to enable mutual growth in the future
- Identify goals and deliverables with appropriate budgets for a particular project opportunity
- Establish and refine processes where required to manage accounts efficiently
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 15 years of relevant Sales experiences in hunting and managing government agencies & public accounts, prefer experiences serving/managing Government accounts with proven BD/sales track record.
- Experience in managing Key Accounts in government segment such as Education/Utilities/Statutory Boards
- IOT technical knowledge
- Smart Building domain knowledge, energy/ environmental sustainability knowledge a plus
- Familiarity with government procurement process especially GreenLane, Bulk tender, GEBIZ process
- Strong understanding in automation, digital and IoT is a plus
- Proven experience of in operational and business acumen in relevant field
- Vast client and partners network in this area
- Strong account mapping ability to deal key stakeholders at different level
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage stretched assignments
- Highly resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Self-motivated with high quality and ethical standards for themselves and others
- Ability to function effectively and decisively in sometimes fluid or ambiguous situations
- A strong team players and collaborative in nature
- Solid analytical and consulting skills with good knowledge of industry best practices.
