Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive (Solutions) with a solid grasp of Microsoft's productivity, security, and compliance solutions. The ideal candidate should be adept at building relationships, identifying client needs, and promoting solutions centred on Microsoft 365, Intune, and Microsoft's security offerings. This role combines both strategic business development and solution-driven consultation, requiring expertise to connect business objectives with technology solutions to drive client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sales process: Engage with prospects and clients, assess their needs, and recommend tailored Microsoft solutions for productivity, security, and compliance.
- Solution design: Leverage Microsoft 365, Intune, Purview, Sentinel, and Azure knowledge to outline high-level solutions aligned with client goals.
- Build trust with clients: Act as a strategic advisor, explaining cybersecurity essentials and advising on solutions to enhance security postures.
- Pre-sales support: Conduct solution demonstrations, assist with technical queries, and provide input on architectural designs to meet client needs.
- Relationship management: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborative delivery: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction, driving continuous enablement and learning.
- Stay informed: Keep up with industry trends to ensure our solutions meet the latest standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in selling Microsoft solutions for productivity, security, and compliance, including Microsoft 365, Intune, and Purview.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and the ability to convey technical solutions in business terms.
- Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms, particularly in a sales or business development capacity.
- Proficiency in high-level solution design to meet varied customer needs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and build trust with diverse clients.
- Solid business acumen, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Mandatory Certification
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals.
Good to Have Certifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
