Business Development Manager EMS - Full Time - Singapore, Singapore

We are looking for a Business Development Manager EMS to join our Services Business Unit division.
Purpose of the job:
Responsible for the coordination and developing opportunities within the allocated territory to deliver year on year growth in both volume and margin through developing customer intimacy and identifying opportunities for Generators, motors and other EM equipment and converting enquiries into profitable orders through commercial experience and achieving the company's overall business plans in EMS portfolio in South East Asia market.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
To contribute to development of growth plans for his/her own customers/allocated territory, and implement and execute these growth plans
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Build strong relationships as well as to identify opportunities for Sulzer for Generators and motors. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
To create customer visit reports, providing feedback on customer maintenance plans, planned parts requirements, updates on rotating equipment installed base and competitor activities, for review and action with the Head of Sales.
Increasing client base
Provides in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
Lead opportunity strategy and drive proposal delivery includes opportunity identification, strategy development, negotiation, and contract closing.
Writing business proposals (including support Area Sales Manager to review bid document, calculation sheet and commercial proposal)
Close coordination with Purwakarta Service centre for job execution
To take responsibility for their contributions to the RFC for Order Intake and Order Intake GP for the customers/allocated territory that he/she is responsible for
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and Sulzer guidelines
Support Account Receivables Collection
Ensures that all works and activities related to EMS in the workshop (SEA) are done in line with HSE and company regulations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
Having good relation/ networking with Key Customer in Power, Mining, marine, Rail/MRT and Oil & Gas
Proven working experience as a business development manager, in the above industries (at least 7-10 years)
Experience of implementing sales strategy
Knowledge of export sales
Financial/budget management
