Key Responsibilities: -
- Identify & establish relationships with Chinese companies willing to collaborate with the firm to drive client acquisition, trading flow, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop & implement business development strategies tailored to the Chinese market, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize the firms offerings to meet the specific needs of Chinese partners.
- Negotiate & finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial and long-term collaborations.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners and manage the BD process from initial contact through to deal closure.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings in Greater China to enhance the company's visibility and network.
The ideal candidate should have the following: -
- Min 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on the Chinese market.
- Deep understanding of the Chinese business environment and market dynamics.
- Strong network of contacts within the Greater China business community.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly numerate and computer literate.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills as you are required to handle Chinese clients and work closely with the firm's China office.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products will be added advantage.
