Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive regional sales of DDR and Linear Motors. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales, with specific expertise in the motion control industry and experience in selling similar motor products. This role is integral to expanding our market presence in Singapore and neighboring countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets for DDR and Linear Motors within Singapore and the region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients across various industries.
- Leverage in-depth product knowledge to understand customer needs and present tailored motor solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and ongoing business development.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability.
- Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to enhance product offerings and optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with a focus on motors or similar industrial products.
- Proven track record in regional sales, particularly within Singapore and neighboring markets.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Drive Rotary (DDR) Motors, Linear Motors, and related motion control technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a goal-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
