Job scope:
- Develop sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals
- Manage, train, and motivate a sales team to meet or exceed targets
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and report results to senior management
- Identify new business opportunities in untapped markets and customer segments
- Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and allocate resources to meet targets
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns and product launches
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
- Manage the sales department budget to ensure cost-effective operations
- Provide regular sales performance reports to senior leadership
- Coach and mentor sales team members, providing training and development opportunities
- Handle relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, ideally with a focus on Point of Care products
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel as required
