- You are a Business Director:
A Carbon Business Director forms part of the senior leadership team and is a role of great responsibility and accountability. You represent the Carbon brand and business at the highest level and are seen internally and externally as a trusted and respected business leader. Two qualities that must be commanded, not demanded. Its a role that sees you positively influence and add value to every area of the business including operations, creative, account & project management, commercial health and most importantly people & culture. You are a thought leader, educator, mentor and inspiration.
- Your responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Leading all major accounts across the portfolio of Carbon clients and acting as a point of escalation and overseer for smaller accounts being managed by subordinate account managers.
Playing the role of objective business facilitator, brand ambassador and advocate across the entire client organisation(s).
Working closely with the creative team to develop strategic roadmaps for creative solutions ensuring all ideas are driven by insights, intelligence and meet client business metrics.
Client retention through delivery of high-value content solutions that meet the needs of agreed upon client objectives (client satisfaction) and then ongoing post-delivery relationship management
New client acquisition through outbound sales and marketing efforts including networking, speaker opportunities and direct selling (phone, email, social).
Leading new and existing client pitches
Contribute to overarching business strategy and directives that facilities Carbons trajectory of organic growth and expansion
Supporting the Company Director through shadow P&L management to grow and maintain the commercial health of the Carbon business including revenue generation, operating cost management and profitability of client accounts/projects.
Seeking out opportunities to protect, expand and diversify Carbons market share by keeping abreast of market insights, trends and intelligence.
Hiring, leading and developing the account & project managers through daily task management, monitoring of productivity, training, appraisals and succession planning.
Stay abreast of trends and innovations in the content arena and inject this into every area of the Carbon business
Championing and upholding the culture of the Carbon business through work ethic, integrity and being a positive role model at all times.
