Company Overview:We are a company specializing in international pet transportation and pet sales, with a strong focus on facilitating pet relocation to and from Singapore. Our services ensure that pets are transported safely and efficiently, assisting with the complete relocation process for pet owners. We are currently seeking a dedicated Client Liaison to join our team, primarily managing pet transportation services for our clients in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, airlines, Chinese customs, veterinary clinics, and laboratory testing agencies, ensuring smooth coordination of all pet transportation services.
- Manage and oversee the entire pet relocation process, from preparing documentation to ensuring safe travel for pets between China and Singapore.
- Travel frequently to various cities across China to accompany pets either entering Singapore or arriving from Singapore into China.
- Coordinate logistics with airlines, customs officials, and ensure all health and safety protocols are followed for international pet travel.
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to the pets during transit, ensuring they are calm and comfortable throughout their journey.
- Maintain clear, precise, and professional communication with pet owners, ensuring all steps of the relocation process are properly explained and executed.
- Collaborate with different departments to improve operational efficiency and meet company objectives, including increasing monthly revenue through successful service execution.
Requirements:
- A passion for animals, with a strong ability to understand and care for both cats and dogs during stressful situations such as air travel.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail when managing complex relocation processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, airline staff, customs officers, and veterinary professionals.
- Bilingual proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities in both languages.
- Flexibility to travel within China at least twice a month, sometimes with short notice, to escort pets.
- A calm demeanor and the ability to soothe anxious pets during travel and communicate effectively with their owners.
- Prior experience in pet care, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
Location:This position is based in Singapore with frequent travel to China.
