Position: Business System Analyst
Location: Raffles
Salary: Up to $5000
Job Responsibilities:
1. User Requirements Gathering:
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and document user requirements.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to understand user needs and expectations.
2. Business Impact Analysis (BIA):
- Document current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop future workflows that align with the new core banking system to meet business objectives.
3. Functional Specification Document (FSD) Review:
- Review and provide feedback on FSDs to ensure alignment with user needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to clarify any questions or ambiguities.
4. Test Script Development:
- Create detailed test scripts covering all functional scenarios.
- Ensure test scripts are comprehensive and align with user requirements.
5. User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Coordinate UAT sessions with end-users.
- Document results, track defects, and ensure timely issue resolution.
6. Data Migration Support:
- Collaborate with the data migration team to ensure accurate data transfer.
- Validate data integrity post-migration.
7. Post-Production Support:
- Assist in post-production rollout activities.
- Provide training and support to end-users for a smooth transition.
8. Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project documentation and reports.
9. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks related to user requirements and testing.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
10. Continuous Improvement:
- Collect user feedback post-implementation and recommend enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience in user requirements gathering, BIA, UAT, and system implementation.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and banking operations.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of data migration processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
