Position Title: Buyer

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon Fri,
- 30 am 6.00 pm)
- Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus
Duration: Permanent Role
Follow MRP guidelines to release Purchase Orders (POs) or Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.- Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers about purchase issues and track shipment status.
Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning processes.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery in procurement.
Identify and research potential suppliers to evaluate their capabilities.- Appraise suppliers for machine components, materials, and products from local and overseas sources.
Use negotiation skills to get the best prices, payment terms, and lead times, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Manage and monitor Engineering Changes (EC) closely.
Maintain warehouse stock levels to support production needs.- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels.
Analyze complex issues where detailed evaluation of variable factors is required.
- Select appropriate methods and techniques to achieve results.
Determine procedures for new tasks and may be asked to coordinate team activities.- Provide management with data and reports on purchasing activities as needed.
Review and suggest improvements for the purchasing system to management.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the department manager.
Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in SAP, ORACLE, SYSPRO, BAAN, or related MRP & ERP systems.
