The hiring company is an established brand in the hospitality industry, with strong footprints across South-East Asia. They are currently hiring a Buyer to be a crucial member of their regional team, helping to enhance the Value Chain in light of their expansion.

Job Description

Your major responsibilities will involve managing various categories for the group across their various locations in South-East Asia, working closely with suppliers and strategic partners.

Your other responsibilities include:

• Sourcing and negotiation with Vendors and Suppliers
• Vendors/Supplier Performance Management
• RFP/RFQs
• Perform root-cause analysis and identify gaps for improvements
• Procurement activities to support product trials & NPIs
• Monthly Distributor meetings
• Extensive Stakeholder engagement

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree in Supply Chain or equivalent related studies and you must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management. Experience in Hospitality/FMCG/F&B/e-Commerce/retail sectors will be an advantage. You should also be strong with analytics as well as be sensitive to trends. Ability to travel around the region and strong communication and negotiation skills with various stakeholders are essential.
