Buyer/Senior Buyer (North) / FMCG Industry

Our client is a leading smart retail & food robotics company. They are looking for a Buyer/Senior Buyer to assist their Procurement team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at North of Singapore- easily accessible. The Buyer/Senior Buyer is responsible for:

Duties

• Identify the organization's requirements for products and materials.
• Research, select, and purchase high-quality products and materials suitable for the organization's needs.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating for the best price, minimum order quantity, and delivery timescales.
• Process requisitions, update management on order status, and ensure smooth coordination with relevant internal departments.
• Set retail prices, analyze profit margins, update inventory, and manage stock levels, including forecasting.
• Arrange transportation, track orders, monitor product quality and expiry, and escalate any issues to suppliers and management as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of buyer experience in F&B FMCG environment for junior role
