Cabling Technician

Job Description

- Install, repair, test & commission cable systems (voice/data/fibre optics)

- Performs termination and testing of new cabling

- Prepare / Install cable pathways & supports

- Assist in the preparation of tools & materials used for daily work assignments

- Troubleshoot cabling system issues & perform repairs & maintenance

- Assist co-workers with installation & routine maintenance of structured cabling systems

- Work closely with client to manage schedule operations of assigned duties.

Requirements

- ITE, NITEC (Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology/ Electronic / IT ) or work- related experience

- Good communication & team work skills

- Class 3 driving license would be advantageous

- Self-motivated and team spirit: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a professional team
