Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Caf Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service at Avenue'J caf. As a key leader in our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction, managing staff, and ensuring smooth operations in line with the cafs goals and values.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory.
  • Manage cash handling and reconcile daily sales reports.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and mentor caf staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.
  • Address performance issues and escalate to management as needed.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Greet and interact with customers to ensure a positive experience.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and inquiries professionally.
  • Promote a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in line with the cafs brand.

Sales and Promotion

  • Support promotional activities, menu updates, and seasonal events.
  • Upsell caf products to boost revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance and suggest strategies for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a caf or F&B environment.
  • Strong knowledge of caf operations, including barista skills, food handling, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting.
