Calibration Lab Planner

General Description of Calibration Laboratory

SIAEC Calibration lab is the section within the company that is tasked to calibrate and/or certify the equipment's suitability for operational use. More than 7,000 tools will go through the section for this service annually. The laboratory is ISO17025 certified and is subjected to stringent process and quality requirements by Regulators, Aircraft Operators and Customers (internal and external)

Job Description

1. Maintenance and control of system (SAP) processes

• Induction of equipment
• Dispatch of equipment
• System update of equipment status

2. Production Control

• Maintenance of calibration equipment tracking sheet
• Obtaining daily updates from production
• Provide status reports

3. Supply chain function

• Raising of Purchase Requests (PR)
• Documentation of Delivery Orders

4. Customer Relationship Management

• Provide quotations to customers
• Interface between planning and operations for scope of work and service deliverables
• Customer focal for feedback, enquiries, and task escalation

5. Technical Record Librarian

• Perform periodic maintenance/ updating of technical records, calibration manuals and service documentation

Desired Skillset

1. Articulate and precise when handling information

2. Experience with customer facing/management functions

3. Strong user of MS suite of software

4. Candidates with experience in software programming (Python, Written MS excel Macros) for mass data processing will be considered favorable
