Job Summary:The Car Rental Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets and ensure excellent customer service. This role involves managing daily operations, developing sales strategies, training staff, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the car rental industry.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Set and track sales targets for the team.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
Evaluate performance through performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.- Handle customer complaints and ensure issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market analysis.- Use data to forecast sales trends and adjust strategies as needed.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Experience in the car rental industry is highly desirable.
