Job Description

Job Summary:

The Car Rental Salesperson is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and renting vehicles, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling rental transactions, and promoting the companys products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and a basic understanding of the car rental industry.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate vehicle based on their needs and preferences.
Provide detailed information about the rental process, terms, and conditions.
  • Sales & Promotion:
Upsell additional products and services, such as insurance and GPS devices.
  • Promote special offers and loyalty programs to customers.
Meet and exceed individual sales targets.
  • Rental Transactions:
Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify customer identification and payment information.
Inspect vehicles before and after rental to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Problem Resolution:
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of rental transactions and customer information.
  • Ensure the rental office and vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and security.
  • Qualifications:
  • Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Experience:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Experience in the car rental industry is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.

Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
