Job Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting functions relating to casino operations including preparing accounting journal entries such as Accural, Prepayment and Fixed Assets entries
Assist in timely closing of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts
Perform reconciliation of:
Balance Sheet and Operating Expenses (OPEX) schedules
Gaming systems reports and Accounting Ledger balances
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Prepare management reports within stipulated deadlines and investigate unusual and/or significant fluctuation;
Prepare annual budget, capital expenditure plans and financial forecast for Business Units
Prepare reports for submission to Authorities
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
Meet Casino Regulatory Authority's statutory requirement of minimum 21 years of age
Degree in Accounting, ACCA, AAT or other professional Accounting qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of general accounting experience, preferably in an audit firm or other role with accounting & analysis experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills; quick learner who demonstrates initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
