Job scope:
Supervision and Management
-Oversee the carpentry team and ensure they follow project plans and specifications.
-Assign tasks to carpenters and monitor their performance and progress.
-Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety standards.
Planning and Coordination
-Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and timelines.
-Ensure that all materials and tools are available and in good working condition for the team.
-Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
Quality Control
-Ensure that all carpentry work meets building codes and industry standards.
-Conduct inspections and audits of completed work to maintain quality and safety.
-Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the carpentry work promptly.
Requirements:
- Creative and a keen eye for details and design
- Self-motivated and self-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills
-Willingness to work on public holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays if required.
Plus points:
-Relevant certifications in carpentry, construction safety, or project management may be preferred or required.
- 8 years experience is required.
