We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part Time Cashier to join our dynamic team in the Food & Beverage industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Greet customers entering the establishment with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Accurately process all transactions through the POS system
Handle cash, credit and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary
Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area, ensuring shelves are stocked and products are neatly arranged
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about pricing and availability
Upsell additional products when appropriate, using suggestive selling techniques- Follow all company procedures and policies regarding cash handling and customer service
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the establishment
Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role in F&B industry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactions
Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
