Cat Care Attendant

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Cat Care Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, particularly cats, and will be dedicated to providing top-notch care for them in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide daily care for cats, including feeding, grooming, and cleaning litter boxes.

- Monitor the health and behavior of cats, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the cat housing areas.

- Assist with administering medications as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor.

- Engage with the cats to ensure they receive adequate attention and socialization.

- Maintain accurate records of cat care activities and any health concerns.

- Provide excellent customer service to visitors

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with animals, particularly cats, is preferred.

- A genuine love for cats and a strong understanding of their needs.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Physical ability to handle cats and perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Comfortable administering medications and handling cats of various temperaments.

- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Good command of the English language and another language fluently.

- Able to be disciplined and adhere to company policies and reliably turn up on time as scheduled.

- Able to work on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
