Responsibilities
- Ceramics tutoring & class designing
- Plan exhibitions and events including artist workshop
- Kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces
- Design and produce AIA ceramic product for retails purposes
- Sets up, cleans, and demonstrates the use of equipment and instruments
- Maintains inventories, orders supplies in accordance with purchasing procedures
- Monitor and ensure a clean and safe working environment, with regular upkeep of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidates with at least a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially pottery
- Possess intermediate knowledge of ceramics (throwing, trimming, and glazing)
- Able to make sake sets and teapot sets
- Experience with teaching ceramics will be an absolute advantage
- Passionate about working in the ceramics industry
- Responsible and well-organized
- Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers
- A team player
- Willing to work over the weekends and public holidays
- Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills
