Job Description:
ACA Pacific is currently seeking a Channel Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced IT industry.
As a Channel Account Manager, you will play a vital role in establishing and nurturing strong relationships with our channel partners to drive sales, increase market share, and achieve business objectives. Your focus will be on managing and expanding our channel network to maximize revenue and create mutually beneficial partnerships.
In this role, you will receive a basic salary along with a commission scheme that rewards performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Channel Partner Management:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with existing channel partners, such as value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and distributors.
- Collaborate with partners to align business goals, establish joint business plans, and drive mutual growth.
- Provide regular training, enablement, and support to partners to enhance their product knowledge and capabilities.
2. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Work closely with channel partners to identify sales opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and close deals.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to ensure effective lead management and seamless handover of opportunities.
3. Channel Development and Expansion:
- Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand market reach and coverage.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess potential partners, considering their expertise, market presence, and alignment with company values.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to enable partners to effectively promote and sell the company's IT products and solutions.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and support.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop channel-specific marketing campaigns, collateral, and promotional materials.
- Communicate regularly with channel partners to provide updates, share information, and promptly address any concerns or issues.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and strengthen partner relationships.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Sales Role or similar role within the IT industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through channel partnerships.
- Strong understanding of channel management strategies, partner ecosystems, and indirect sales models in the IT industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
- Solid negotiation and problem-solving abilities to address partner challenges and resolve conflicts.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with IT products, solutions, and industry trends.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners, attend industry events, and visit customers.
