About the Role
The Channel Partnership Manager/Director is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing partnerships between the publishers, its clients, channel partners, and other external partners. You will be responsible for driving growth by expanding our publisher network and building robust channel partnerships. Your role will focus on identifying and managing relationships with both publishers and strategic channel partners to increase our footprint, audience, and new revenue generation. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for digital media, channel and collaborative business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify and engage high-quality publishers that align with our content standards and audience goals.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, including revenue-sharing terms, performance incentives, audience sharing opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with partners to define key performance indicators (KPIs), establish clear partnership goals, and align on growth strategies.
- Guide partners through a streamlined onboarding process, ensuring compliance, engagement standards and contractual requirements.
Management & Growth
- Manage and nurture relationships with channel partners, acting as the primary point of contact to foster long-term collaboration.
- Develop and implement joint business plans with each channel partner to ensure alignment on objectives, deliverables, and performance benchmarks.
- Regularly evaluate partnership performance and identify optimization opportunities, ensuring each partnership delivers maximum impact.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the performance of channel partnerships, focusing on audience reach, engagement rates, and revenue.
- Use analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights, suggesting strategic changes to improve partner and network performance.
- Share performance metrics and reports with channel partners, fostering transparency and a data-driven approach to ongoing improvements.
Market Analysis & Strategic Growth
- Conduct regular industry and competitive analysis to stay current on trends, channel partnership models, and emerging platforms.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and innovative growth channels based on evolving market needs and business behaviors.
- Advocate for new partnership models within the company, sharing insights and recommendations with leadership.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure agency partnership and channel initiatives are well-coordinated.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to maximize the value of partnerships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing agency and channel partnerships.
- Familiarity with ad tech, digital publisher, and digital marketing platforms.
