Chemical Procurement Specialist / 1 Year Contract - Renewable

Our client is a global MNC in Chemical Manufacturing Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Chemical Procurement Specialist to be part of their Procurement Team. They are located in the West - easily accessible (Transportation Provided)

Duties of Procurement/ Sourcing Specialist:

• Source for both Direct and Indirect Material, as well as Equipment categories.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly savings reports and pipeline data in the procurement portal.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and cost-saving projects.
• Collaborate with the Regional Category Team on strategy development.
• Engage suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Develop alternative suppliers and coordinate their qualification and approval.
• Assemble contracts to ensure supply security and meet procurement goals.
• Work with the Supply Chain team on inventory control, material quality, and process safety.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in related field
• Min 2 - 3 years of experience in similar industry
• Proficient in SAP / Oracle system is highly preferred
