Takes charge of the entire engineering department, leading a team as they complete various projects
To assist in site supervision works
Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
Coordinating for the project planning, documentation, and execution of works on-site
Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
Coordinate with the contractor and suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submission
Attend meetings, and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance with authority requirements.
To carry out daily implementation of works at the site with assistance from fellow supervisors and foremen.
To plan and ensure all implementations are carried out in accordance with the Construction program.
Carry out daily discussions with the project team and fellow colleagues to ensure works are carried out smoothly and no re-work or clashes with other trade works.
Study all related construction drawings and prepare and raise any RFI's required early before implementation of the actual works.
To prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure the smooth transition of works.
Ensure all necessary inspections in accordance with the client's requirements are carried out accordingly, correctly, and timely.
The plan and sequences of the construction operations are in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. Attends all necessary site progress meetings, and internal meetings as & when required.
Keep track of submission status like shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements & all other technical submissions.
To carry out resource planning, machinery allocations, and equipment management on a day-to-day basis to ensure works at the site are carried out smoothly.
Coordinates and maintains constant communications with fellow colleagues from other departments like architectural, technical, and planning.
Liaise with the client's supervisory department for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintaining necessary records at the site.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
More than 10 years of working experience in the related field is required
Proficient with AutoCAD and other office software
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Work closely with the project team to resolve technical issues
Good attitude and communication skills
Need to be stationed at the site (Jurong East)
Willing to work 6 days at the project site
Experience in LTA projects is required
Experience with high-rise buildings would be advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Equipped with leadership skills in which able to lead the engineers in completing the jobs
