The Position:

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Company in Singapore

The Company:

The Company is a leading insurance and reinsurance brokerage company headquartered in Singapore, serving clients principally in the Asean Countries, New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands and beyond. The company is part of PWS Group. The roots of PWS (Pearson Webb & Springbett) can be traced back in 1964 as a handler of complex insurance related business.

We specialise in providing risk management solutions and insurance brokering services to diverse range of clients across various industries. With a team of experienced professionals and a commitment to excellence, we delivered and strive to continually provide our specialised services along with our expertise.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO to lead our company to the next level of growth and success. Reporting to the Board of directors, the CEO will be responsible for managing the company's overall operations, financial performance and driving growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute business strategies and plans to achieve company objectives and goals.

2. Manage the overall operations of the company and ensure financial performance targets are met.

3. Continue to develop and lead high-performance team for greater efficiency and long-term success.

4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and expand the company's presence in the market

5. Implement, improve, and enforce policies and procedures that will increase the financial and operational effectiveness of the company.

6. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability.

7. Present periodic business performance reports to the Board of Directors and make recommendations for improvement.

8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, partners, and other stakeholders.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and adjust the company's strategy as needed.

10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences and serve as a thought leader in the industry.

Requirements:

a. Bachelor's degree in business, Insurance, Finance or a related field advanced degree preferred.

b. At least 10 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, with a proven records of success in leadership and management.

c. Strong business acumen and a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability

d. Deep understanding of the Singaporean and international insurance and reinsurance markets

e. Comprehensive understandings of the general insurance and reinsurance market markets in the relevant Countries, including regulatory and compliance requirements.

f. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

g. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and growth.

h. Ability to lead and manage a skilled team, and to work effectively in changing dynamic platforms.
