Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy & Leadership Develop, execute, and refine operational strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and values. Lead the strategic planning process and ensure smooth execution of projects across all departments, particularly with compliance, technology, and client services. Establish operational KPIs and regularly assess performance to ensure the organization meets its objectives efficiently and sustainably.
  • Team Management & Development Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team that reflects a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture. Develop and implement effective workforce planning, fostering professional growth opportunities and clear career pathways. Maintain a fair and progressive workplace by promoting inclusive practices in hiring, development, and employee engagement.
  • Financial Management Oversee financial performance metrics and budgetary planning, ensuring operational activities align with financial targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining a high standard of service and operational efficiency. Collaborate with finance teams to manage and optimize operational budgets, providing timely reporting to the CEO and board.
  • Process Optimization & Risk Management Analyze, develop, and implement operational policies to increase productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance customer experience. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and internal policies to mitigate operational risks. Implement robust risk management practices and conduct regular audits to maintain an effective control environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and partners, to support organizational goals. Act as a liaison between executive leadership and operations, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives and policy implementation. Champion transparency and accountability across all levels of the organization to foster trust and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior operations role, with a track record of successfully scaling and optimizing operational functions.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a commitment to fair and progressive workplace practices.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management.
  • Excellent strategic planning, financial acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
