Childcare Teacher

Adventure Tree Preschool is seeking for 2 passionate, dynamic and dedicated L2 Childcare Teacher who wants to make a difference in children's learning.

Position open in our Bukit Timah campus and in our Holland campus for K1/K2 levels

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes self-directed learning
• Coordinate, supervise and develop the programme for the class in accordance with the center's curriculum and philosophy
• Keep updated the progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties
• Build and maintain close relationship with parents
• Attend events organised by center. e.g. Open House, carnival etc
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Centre from time to time

Working Hours:

Shift of 9 hours (including 1-hour lunch break) from Monday to Friday, during the school normal opening hours + up to 8 Saturday mornings per year dedicated for school special events (PTC, concert, training,)

Job Requirements:

Certified by ECDA at L2 level

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work well independently as well as within a team

Enjoys working with young children
