The mission consists in developing the commercial activities for the repair, spares and services of Safran Electronics and Defense equipment in Asia Pacific (including India), in direct relationship with the final users (airlines and operators, MRO's, service providers and distributors). The senior sales manager also plays a coordination role in Asia Pacific with other sales managers.
For this purpose, he/she has to: Answer the requests for bid raised by the customers in the area (build the proposal, answer the contractual terms and conditions and negotiate to find an agreement to be signed), Manage the bid internal approval process until the offer is approved, Make the contract review and cascade to the customer support and sales team, Understand and share the aftersales market needs (players, competitors, pricing, requirements), Visit customers, participate to events and make lobbying towards customers, Make non-solicited offers to prospects and develop the customer's portfolio as well as the customers activities, Provide reliable ordering forescast, Fulfill sales tools, KPIs and reporting, Coordinates in Asia Pacific (including India) with other sales managers, Represent the sales director in some instances, Take decisions by delegation of the sales director.
To achieve the mission and objectives, the After Market Sales Manager is in liaison with:
the customer support programs directors and managers, the spare and repair administration, the key account managers, the marketing, the repair shops, the legal team, the finance, the trade compliance, the export control.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) the ordering level, the contract profitability, the customer visits planning.

Background and experience required
Master degree in engineering or commercial discipline, At least 5 years of years of experience in commercial negotiation and after-sales in aeronautical field.
