Responsibilities:
- Perform damage assessments on accident vehicles and generate repair cost estimates.
- Collaborate with insurance assessors regarding vehicle repairs and the claims process.
- Work closely with all repair shops to ensure vehicles are restored to standards and completed on schedule.
- Communicate with insurance claims representatives to ensure all necessary paperwork is finalized and processed.
- Conduct quality checks on vehicles before releasing them to customers and address any identified issues.
- Maintain thorough documentation of vehicle conditions before and after repairs.
- Attend to vehicle hirers and owners, promptly addressing their feedback and concerns.
- Manage and coordinate the availability and procurement of spare parts.
- Inspect the condition of returning vehicles and ensure any necessary repairs are invoiced and/or completed.
- Ensure workplace safety adheres to the company's safety guidelines.
- Carry out any additional tasks or assignments assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma in General Insurance or related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in Automotive Industry as an Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator
- Proficient in using MS Office Applications.
- Experience with Audatex, Merimen and eBao systems is an advantage
